The Group Product Manager is a player/coach responsible for managing a team of Product Managers over a suite of Origami Products or Modules ensuring a single strategic view of the owned area. The Group Product Manager brings a spirit of entrepreneurial innovation to the team's product roadmap allowing Origami to both differentiate and be a competitive leader in the respective competitive space(s).
The Group Product Manager is a strategic partner to the Director of Product Management.
Starting base pay for this role is between $145,000 and $175,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Leads, mentors, and inspires a team of Product Managers and Product Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Provides oversight of team ensuring alignment to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and underlying processes.
Monitors and reports on product KPIs and business metrics to optimize the Product and ensure efficiency of the team.
Researches and identifies emerging market and technology needs to influence the market roadmap and promote innovation and differentiation.
Defines and oversees a combined and prioritized roadmap across team of Product Managers for a single and clear strategic vision for suite of products/modules.
Uses data to validate roadmap prioritization and proposed solution builds. Ensures that we are solving the right problems and that these problems are worth solving.
Advocates for the customer by proactively seeking out and engaging with clients to understand pain points and problems we need to solve for.
Performs assessment of potential product partners and manages relationship for selected partners.
Partners with cross-functional team to ensure successful rollout of team functionality and solutions in alignment with department procedures.
Communicates with other Product Managers and department leadership to ensure complementary/non-conflicting roadmaps.
Partners with key stakeholders including but not limited to design, architecture, marketing, business representatives.

Performs ongoing team member career development and performance evaluations in addition to the annual performance and compensation review process.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in technology, business, liberal arts, science, or engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Must have understanding of software development lifecycle processes and technologies.
Prior Risk Management and/or P&C Insurance experience strongly preferred.
