Launch your career in aerospace! As a Receiving Inspector I, you’ll be the first quality checkpoint for incoming parts. You’ll verify shipments from subcontractors, confirm quantities and part numbers against routers and certificates, and make sure each job order is complete and accurate. You’ll also inspect parts for material or workmanship defects and any shipping damage—helping keep our production lines running smoothly.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Validate incoming parts: match quantities and part numbers to routers/certificates
- Inspect for defects or shipping damage and document any discrepancies
- Partner with Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping to resolve issues quickly
- Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and audit readiness
- Work under general supervision, following established procedures and standard work
- Properly unpackage, count, and verify the quantity of parts received from subcontractors
- Accurately check subcontractor certifications to ensure parts were correctly processed
- Complete raw material verification testing using various equipment
- Prepare jobs for outside processing, including measuring, weighing, and counting bars/parts
- Assist raw material handlers as needed
- Be at your desk/station and ready to work at your designated start time to meet customer and team needs
- Full-time, Monday - Friday
- 1st shift 6:45am-3:00pm
- Monday through Friday occasional Saturday, as needed
- Ability to work overtime is required
- Have strong attention to detail and a knack for spotting issues early
- Communicate clearly with teammates across departments
- Are comfortable learning new processes and systems
- Keep organized documentation and follow instructions reliably
