. Mayday Manufacturing is a leading Aerospace machining and metal finishing company in Denton, Texas, and is looking to add 3rd Shift Quality Control Inspectors to join our team.

• Accurately performs pre-processing inspection of manufactured parts (simple bushings)
• Basic calibration verification of tools and equipment as required
• Accurately completes all necessary paperwork including but not limited to: receiving parts from subcontractors, job-logs, disposition of scrap, etc.
• Meet the needs of our customers and colleagues; you are expected to be at your workstation and ready to work at your designated start time

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use inspection tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers)
• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills including active listening
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety protocols
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Dependable and independent worker

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

• 2 years or more prior inspection experience

• Must have an acceptable criminal history background check
• Must pass a drug test

• Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to access and navigate the production facility
• Hearing and vision must be within normal range with or without correction

• Full-time
• 3rd Shift 10:45pm to 7:00am
• Sunday through Thursday, occasional Saturdays as needed
• Some overtime may be required
