Five Star Orthodontic Lab and supply has been servicing the Orthodontic community for over 30 years! Five Star uses an assembly line approach to appliance fabrication. Each tech is specialized in one or more departments and each appliance is QC'd after each step of the fabrication process. This provides for a much more consistent, quality appliance.

Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Finish rough poured acrylic appliances both removable and fixed. Make acrylic more anatomical and comfortable. Must be able to operate bench top lathe, hand piece grinder- polisher, pressure pot for curing. Acrylic repairs and color design use steamer to clean wax from appliances.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate . Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and t o carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal,state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
