As a
Marketing Specialist
, you will play an important role in the Tetra Pak marketing team by working closely with cross functional teams, you will support growth and innovation initiatives for local and global accounts across the US and Canada. Key activities include market and category analysis, trend monitoring, competitive intelligence, customer presentations and workshops, marketing materials, product and innovation initiatives, and support for industry events and trade shows.

This position offers broad exposure to the food and beverage, packaging, and retail industries and the opportunity to contribute to strategic customer and business priorities.

The position is based in Denton, Texas and reports to the Marketing Manager.

You will be travelling up to 25% locally.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

As a Marketing Specialist,you will:

• Have direct customer interaction as you will support and lead some customer marketing initiatives aligned with the Market Business Plan.
• Be a trustedmarketingadvisor(consultant) for our customers,providethemvaluable proposals and best solutions that will contribute totheir marketing strategies.
• Contribute to the development of the Market Business Plan based on analysis of market intelligence covering the entire value chain inidentifiedpriority categories.
• Work with other colleagues across many areas of marketing, including Communications, Portfolio, Business Insights& Analytics and Marketing Services.
• Create relationships and further your knowledge of marketing and sales, our portfolio and services to our customers
• Collaborate with our marketing team and support cross-functional teams and customers with market intelligence,category,and customer analysis.
• Work with and manage multiple stakeholders across the business, including Sales, Portfolio, Innovation and Business Insights and Analytics teams.
• Deliver Innovation services for limited customers drawing materials according to Tetra Pak methodologies.
• Provide input to new product requirements based on value chain needs in key categories.
• Provide input to future intelligence requirements formarketand liaise with cluster business intelligenceparticipatingin research projects as needed. Use of research data with customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or any other related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in working in a corporate environment, (experience infood and beverages categories is a plus)
• Experience and proven competence working withdatabasesfrom external agencies,for example,Nielsen, Circana,Mintel, additionally competence with PowerPoint and Exceland Power BI softwares
• A data-oriented mind set with the ability to develop insights and tell a story
• Great customer service skills anda go-getterattitude
• Demonstratedorganizationalandprioritizationskills
• Diligence and the ability to build trust quickly with strong integrity
• Curiosity and ability toidentifymarket opportunities as well as develop value propositions for these opportunities
