Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN / LPN

Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN / LPN – Jet Health, Inc.

Denton County, TX and surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse for patients of all ages in their place of residence.
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group, patient/family, and referring agency to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient health and report any changes to the supervising RN.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and their families on health care needs, conditions, and options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  • Work in patients' homes in various conditions.
  • Possibly work a flexible schedule and travel locally as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Vocational/Practical Nursing.
  • Current State license as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse or a multi‑state license via the National Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) if practicing in a member state. Must have a current driver’s license.
  • Two years’ experience as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse in a clinical care setting. Home health experience highly preferred.
  • HCHB experience highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in nursing skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice; good interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and valid, current auto liability insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients; requires hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and acquire necessary resources.
  • Must meet patient/family individualized psychosocial needs.
