RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on 43-bed Medical Unit 610 located on 5th floor

• Day shift patient ratio: 1:5-6 patients

• Night shift patient ratio: 1:6 patients

• Self-scheduling allowed within reason for balanced schedule

• Rotating weekends required

• Float to medical unit and ER to provide med/surg hold nurse capabilities

• Work with EMR system Meditech

• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs

• Care for patients undergoing any type of surgery excluding cardiac and open neuro surgery

• Previous med/surg nursing experience in acute care setting required

• Meditech experience preferred

• Must be willing to jump in as team player and ask questions when unsure of processes

• Work alongside charge nurse, unit secretary, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs per shift
