Weekend RN Supervisor

Weekend RN Supervisor - Join our team as a dedicated Weekend RN Supervisor and make a difference in resident care during high‑traffic shifts.

• Supervise Nursing Staff:
  Assign and delegate duties based on resident census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management:
  Monitor medication administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans:
  Ensure care plans are followed per company policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support:
  Perform and supervise treatments, serving as a staff nurse when needed.
• Manage Documentation:
  Transcribe physician orders promptly, complete assessments, and maintain accurate records.
• Lead Shift Communication:
  Participate in shift reports and keep staff informed of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance:
  Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs:
  Coordinate coverage for staffing shortages.
• Oversee Incidents:
  Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work:
  Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow‑up.

Shift Requirements: Minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours of work per day during assigned shifts.

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Texas.
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to remain composed during emergencies and manage workflow effectively.
