Work hours:

Full-Time Night Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3‑12 hour shifts, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Sign on Bonus for Eligible New Hires (eligible upon hire with a signed 2‑year retention agreement).

• Patients with critical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of our 41 emergent care rooms. Next stop trauma designation!
• Our emergency care nurses, paramedics, employees, and physicians on the medical staff receive continual training in the use of specialized lifesaving equipment and techniques.

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• CLIAFE – comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required).
• RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required.
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
• ACLS – within 90 days of hire.
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire.
• 1‑year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 2‑3 years ER experience preferred.
• ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – 12 months required.
• TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course – 12 months required.
• PALS – within 90 days of hire.

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age‑specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others' need for information.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and while expediting out‑of‑hospital transfers.
