RN Nurse, Healthcare Nursing
RN Registered Nurse 7am-7:30pm, Rotating Weekends – UBH Denton
Shift: 7am-7:30pm, Rotating Weekends
Full-time opportunity of 36 hours per week with full benefits. This role provides patient care in a private, 104-bed psychiatric hospital serving North Texas and surrounding communities. The position offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services, including a specialized Women’s program.
ResponsibilitiesThis full‑time RN provides registered nursing services in collaboration with the interdisciplinary health team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver patient care in accordance with the Nursing Standards of Care, Joint Commission, state and regulatory standards, and patient rights.
- Implement Infection Control, Safety, and Risk Management policies consistently.
- Document patient information and nursing care accurately.
- Support charge, supervisory, and nurse‑manager roles through training programs.
- Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
- Maintain compliance with the Joint Commission, state and regulatory standards, and patient rights standards.
- Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
- Documents patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.

- Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program;
Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Experience: Minimum 3 years in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
- Licensure: Current license to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
- Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of Handle with Care and Verbal De‑escalation, including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
