Pay Rate
: $15.00/hour
Shifts Available
: 6:00 a.m.
-2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- 10:00 p.m.
PRN shifts available
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in performing tasks beyond routine resident care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitor residents' responses, and adhere to community infection control policies.
- Assist residents with medications as outlined in medication procedures and supervise those who self-administer.
- Maintain residents’ records daily, documenting medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, observations, and any changes in residents' conditions.
- Write weekly/monthly summaries addressing issues identified in service plans.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
- Receive and manage reports on all residents.
- Count controlled substances with outgoing RMAs, ensuring accuracy before accepting keys.
- Provide direct resident care as described in the Resident Assistant Job Description.
- Follow proper procedures in emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
- Promote teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.
- Attend all required in-service training sessions.
- Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
- Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene in line with company policies.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
- Delegation by a Registered Nurse for medication administration.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
