Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and drive profitability at their Jack in the Box location.

Responsible for managing restaurant operations, with discretion in daily decisions, ensuring the Service Profit Chain, Brand Promise, and compliance with all policies.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees, ensuring effective staffing and development.
- Maintain a friendly, clean, and safe environment, treating all staff and guests with respect.
- Monitor service quality and food safety, responding to guest concerns promptly.
- Use management information tools to analyze performance, identify trends, and implement action plans to increase sales and profitability.
- Work with the Restaurant Manager to uphold the Service Profit Chain, protect the brand, and manage costs within budget.
- Integrity and strong ethical standards; promotes Jack in the Box culture.
- Strong coaching and development skills, motivating staff for high performance.
- Guest‑focused with the ability to exceed expectations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of food quality, safety, and restaurant cleanliness.
- Business acumen, decision‑making, and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required;
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager, or 3 years as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility.
- Knowledge/
Skills:
Must be 18+, 100% certified in all workstations, Serv Safe certified, fluent in English, proficient with basic math and PC skills, valid driver’s license. - Physical: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 65 lbs, operate kitchen equipment and a vehicle.
