We are seeking a Utility Worker to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Utility Worker
, you will play an important role in all phases of cleanliness that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. Join our team and inspire happiness in the lives of others!

• Set-up, breakdown and maintain the dish room and pot washing area.
• Set-up, breakdown and clean floor safety mats.
• Clean all pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glassware, and utensils, including washing, drying and storing.
• Clean and sanitize all carts.
• Clean production equipment and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Mops and sweep kitchen, dry storeroom, walk-in coolers to be free of debris.
• Take out trash on an ongoing basis.
• Keep log sheets for the dish machine and 3 compartment sink.

• Completes and meets required training and certification requirements of Buckner and governing authorities; e.g. food handlers certificate.
• Requires knowledge of and ability to learn food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements.
• Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force continuously to move food service and preparation equipment and other objects.
• Requires ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk over 75% of shift.
