District Sales Manager POSITION SUMMARY Walters Hospitality is in the business of helping people celebrate life's most momentous occasions. Across our growing portfolio of 45+ wedding and event venues and vendor services, we show up for customers at a moment that matters more than almost any other.

The Sales Coordinator is a hands-on, entry-level role for someone who wants to build a career in weddings and hospitality. You will work alongside our sales team every week, supporting tours, following up with couples, and making sure our venues are ready for every visit. You will get a front-row seat to how a wedding booking comes together, from the first call through the tour, and you will learn what it takes to help a couple say yes.

For the right person, this is the first step toward a full career in venue sales.

If you are organized, enjoy meeting people, take pride in getting the details right, and want to start your career on a team that values its people, this could be the start you have been looking for.

THE DAY-TO-DAYLead Additional Venue Tours:
Take the lead on showing couples other Walters venues, making each visit feel personal and polished. Share what you learn about their vision, preferences, and priorities so the Venue Sales Specialist can guide them confidently toward the perfect fit.

Document Tour Outcomes:
After every tour, record detailed notes on what the couple loved, their questions and concerns, their vision, and agreed next steps so the Venue Sales Specialist can pick up the conversation seamlessly.

Nurture Prospects and Support Tours:
Reach out to prospective couples to answer questions, build interest, and help them take the next step toward scheduling a visit with Walters.

Prepare Venues for Tours:
Get spaces ready for upcoming tours, including booklets, welcome materials, water bottles, and other details that make a great first impression.

Manage Marketing Materials:
Audit vendor samples, monitor booklet and folder inventory, and make sure materials are stocked and ready to use.

Re-engage Couples:
Contact couples who canceled or missed tours to encourage rescheduling and keep them moving forward.

Support Showcases and Sip & See Events:
Pull reports, send invitations, and assist with guest check-in so every event runs smoothly.

Walk the Property:
Conduct property walks to confirm venues are tour ready, identifying any cleanliness, maintenance, or presentation concerns.

Document Property Concerns:
Log concerns in the facility management system, including uploading photos and submitting work orders as needed.

YOUR SUPERPOWERS You’re eager to learn what it takes to guide couples from their first tour to their wedding day. You ask great questions, stay curious, and treat every conversation as a chance to grow.

You are persistent and follow through. You pick up the phone, re-engage couples who missed a tour, and keep conversations moving without being pushy.

You communicate with care. You write clearly, speak confidently, and make couples and teammates feel heard.

You are detail-oriented and dependable. You keep notes accurate, follow through on commitments, and notice when something needs attention.

You genuinely enjoy people. Helping couples plan one of the most exciting days of their lives is what energizes you.

You are a true team player. You support your teammates, share what you learn, and believe in One Team, Always.

REQUIREMENTS Interest in sales, weddings, or hospitality. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, detailed tour notes and follow-up messages.
