An experienced professional is needed to install, repair, and service commercial door systems across various locations. This role covers automatic doors, emergency egress, fire-rated doors, and more.

Base pay range: $30.00/hr – $40.00/hr actual pay will be based on experience and skill set.

• Installing, repairing, and servicing all types of commercial door systems.
• Working with automatic, sliding, swinging, sensor-driven, and emergency egress systems.
• Handling hollow metal and aluminum storefront doors, as well as pivots, hinges, closers, panic hardware, and thresholds.
• Diagnosing and conducting routine repairs on door-related issues such as springs, locks, and electrical components.
• Troubleshooting onsite and recommending solutions – from simple fixes to full rebuilds.
• Collaborating with glaziers, service techs, and project managers.
• Performing hardware upgrades, retrofits, and ADA compliance fixes.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with commercial doors and hardware.
• Expertise with automatic door systems, sensors, and access control.
• Skills in door alignment, swing adjustment, and advanced hardware installations.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a technician mindset.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Clean driving record and reliable work ethic.

• AAADM certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with fire door inspections or access control systems.
• Creative, solution-oriented mindset while ensuring code compliance.
