Group Fitness Instructor

Position Overview

The position plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant fitness community among students, faculty, and staff. Responsibilities include designing and leading engaging fitness classes in various formats, motivating participants to achieve their fitness goals, and ensuring a safe and supportive exercise environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fitness, strong interpersonal skills, and an accredited certification in group fitness instruction (ACE, NASM, AFAA, 200hrYoga, Zumba, etc.).

• Current Group Exercise Certification from AFAA, ACE, or other specialty certification upon approval from assistant director.
• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to attain through the Rec within one month of hire.
• Group Fitness teaching experience 1+ years
