Job Description
Closing Driver – The closing driver is paid at a higher rate and has more in-store tasks at the end of the day. They help with the dishes and cleaning the store. The driver must close a minimum of three nights per week to receive the higher pay rate, though they may be the late driver for other shifts.

Qualified delivery experts with personality, people skills, and a desire to serve are preferred.
A reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record are required.
We are very flexible with hours and can accommodate a schedule that requires only one shift per week or as many as five‑six shifts per week. Both daytime and evening shifts are available.

GeneralJob Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Complete any required paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility daily
- Maintain store equipment
- Read a map and navigate to designated locations
- Locate addresses and deliver across adverse terrain while carrying product
- Use personal vehicle to deliver products
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- General job duties for all store team members (see above)
- Orientation and training provided on the job
- Training will focus on taking orders, labeling boxes, delivering product safely, and avoiding hazards and distractions on the road
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Minimum age is 18 and you must have a two‑year driving history
- You must pass the MVR and background requirements
- You must be listed as a driver on the insurance policy covering the vehicle you will use
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks
- In‑store temperatures range from 32° in cooler to 90° and above in some work areas
- Extreme weather conditions including temperatures ranging from 0° up to 110° outside; rain, fog, sleet, snow, ice, wind, dust, and more
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside
- Fumes from food odors
- Exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven and hot plates up to 500° or higher
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
- Talking and listening on telephone
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks
