High-Reach Forklift Operator - Cold Storage Warehouse

Job Description

We are hiring experienced High-Reach Forklift Operators for a food cold-storage and distribution facility in Denton, TX. Candidates must have previous high-reach/reach truck forklift experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced cold-storage environment. This is a physical position that requires forklift operation, RF scanner use, material handling, and consistent heavy lifting.

Pay & Shifts

1st Shift: 6:00 AM–Finish $19.00/hour

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–Finish $20.00/hour

3rd Shift: 9:00 PM–Finish $21.00/hour

• Monday–Friday + overtime as required
• End times may vary based on daily workload. Candidates must be flexible to stay until work is completed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a high-reach/reach truck forklift to move, load, unload, and store products
• Pick and put away inventory in warehouse racking
• Use RF scanners to locate, scan, and track inventory
• Load and unload products as needed
• Accurately follow pick lists, work orders, and warehouse instructions
• Lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs. consistently
• Verify product quantities and locations for accuracy
• Follow food storage, warehouse, and forklift safety procedures
• Work in cold-storage, dock, outdoor, and varying-temperature areas
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements

• Previous high-reach/reach truck forklift experience REQUIRED
• Previous RF scanner experience REQUIRED
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift
• Previous warehouse, distribution, cold-storage, or food warehouse experience
• Must be comfortable working in cold and changing temperatures
• Must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Must be flexible to work overtime and variable end times
