Senior Corporate Accountant

Location:

Denver, CO – Corporate Accounting team.

$80,000.00 – $94,000.00 per year.

Annual Target Bonus: 10%.

• Build accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and Leprino’s accounting policies.
• Prepare and record journal entries while maintaining consistent, organized documentation for internal and external audits.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, verify data integrity, and help ensure smooth month‑end close processes.
• Analyze financial trends across cost centers and share key insights that help leaders make informed decisions.
• Write clear and concise variance explanations for internal partners and quarterly reporting needs.
• Coordinate the flow of financial data across departments, creating efficient and transparent reporting practices.
• Research new accounting standards, document findings, and recommend practical updates for adoption.
• Support the implementation of system improvements in SAP, Blackline, and related tools to enhance efficiency.
• Develop new processes that simplify reporting and promote collaboration across our finance community.
• Participate in special projects that help us strengthen accounting consistency and support business growth.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5 years of accounting experience with a solid foundation in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency using large ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data accurately.
• Ability to prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and analytical reports within established timelines.

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or active CPA candidate.
• Experience with a Big 10 public accounting firm, with at least two busy seasons.
• Experience using SAP and Blackline for month‑end close, account reconciliation, and reporting enhancements.
• Familiarity with implementing accounting process improvements and standard methodologies across large organizations.
