- Prepare and file sales/use, property, fuel, franchise, gross receipts for multiple states
- Ensure payment of taxes and filing of regulatory reports
- Respond to tax inquiries and notices via phone, email, or written communication
- Support state and local tax audits
- Internal Controls
- Assist with gathering data related to business transactions
- Prepare monthly accruals, journal entries, and related analysis for tax reserves and liabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Tax, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant tax or accounting experience preferred
- Basic understanding of indirect tax principles, GAAP, and accounting controls
- Willingness to learn specific tax and regulatory requirements
- CPA a plus
