Privately Held Investment Management Firm – On-Site | Full-Time

Our client is a privately held investment management firm seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is essential in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, managing AP/AR workflows, and assisting with monthly financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with senior accounting staff and off-site personnel to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across financial processes.

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including coding, entry, and payment processing.
• Collaborate with off-site personnel to ensure accurate classification of expenses.
• Record and code daily cash receipts and reconcile related ledgers.
• Identify and resolve issues related to new or non-recurring transactions.
• Prepare and post month-end close entries for AP, AR, and cash activity.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules.
• Prepare basic monthly financial statements and assist with more complex reporting.
• Support Senior Accountants with ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as needed.

• 1+ years of accounting experience (full-cycle accounting preferred)
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
