Our client—a rapidly scaling technology company serving the Private Equity & Venture Capital ecosystem—is seeking a Controller who can serve as both a functional accounting expert and a strategic business partner.

This role is ideal for someone who loves building, improving, mentoring, and collaborating cross‑functionally to help drive company growth. If you enjoy a blend of hands‑on work, strategic leadership, process improvement, and scaling systems in a SaaS environment, this is the opportunity.

• Lead preparation of accurate and timely GAAP‑compliant financial statements, including deferred revenue and subscription billing under ASC 606
• Oversee daily accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, general ledger
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
• Strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy
• Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability across the accounting function
• Lead cash flow management and ensure liquidity for operational needs
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team; foster a collaborative, continuous‑improvement culture
• Own all audits, investor reporting, and tax filings
• Partner cross‑functionally to support company growth initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management
• Strong understanding of GAAP, ASC 606, SaaS metrics, internal controls, and financial reporting
• SaaS experience required; experience supporting PE‑backed companies strongly preferred
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to scale systems and processes for growth
• Advanced proficiency in accounting systems—Net Suite strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills
• High integrity, professionalism, and leadership presence
