• Lead audit engagement activities for industry‑specific clients, planning and supervising all audit tasks.
• Perform substantive testing of client balance sheets and income statements, and assess internal control deficiencies.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to gather information and respond to audit questions.
• Discuss audit findings and business recommendations with the manager and partner.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, and participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs.
• Build strong relationships internally and with clients; network and maintain a professional reputation.
• Support the growth and development of associates through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable undergraduate coursework to sit for the CPA exam.
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing CPA exam completion.
• Two or more years of public accounting audit experience.
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal, relationship building, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
• Leadership, project management, organizational, analytical skills; initiative and adaptability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Base salary range: $82,000 – $105,000. Actual compensation is influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
