Senior Accountant – Denver, CO

We’re a VC‑backed mission‑driven company building sustainable, efficient homes through technology and home services. You’ll be the first dedicated Accounting & Finance resource, reporting directly to the CFO.

Own the end‑to‑end accounting and financial reporting function while building the financial backbone for a complex, multi‑faced business as it scales.

• Own monthly close, core accounting, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate, timely, and audit‑ready financials
• Manage AP, payroll, and cash flow across multiple systems
• Build and improve scalable accounting processes, controls, and reporting
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and business insights

• 4+ years of experience in accounting/finance; sweet spot: 5–7 years
• Preferred background starting in Big 4 or public accounting, followed by corporate or operating company experience
• Experience supporting a complex, high‑volume business (e.g., product + services, manufacturing, multiple revenue streams, varied cost structures)
• Strong understanding of how revenue, costs, and cash move through an operationally intensive business
• Systems‑minded, detail‑oriented, and comfortable owning the full accounting cycle
• Full GL Accounting experience

• CPA
• Early‑stage or high‑growth company experience
• Strong analytical or practical finance skill set

• Primarily in‑office (4 days/week) in Denver, CO (local or willing to relocate)
• Base salary + cash bonus + equity
• Base salary: up to $125k
