Senior Audit Associate - Denver, CO
Who:
We are seeking an experienced audit professional with at least 3 years in public accounting who communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
What:
You will lead audit engagements, develop audit programs, perform technical research, mentor staff, and deliver high‑quality services to international inbound clients.

Salary:
Base salary range is $75,000–$90,000/year, depending on experience, skills, and location.
The Senior Audit Associate will lead audit engagements for U.S.
-inbound international businesses, prepare work papers and documentation, guide junior staff, and support business development efforts while ensuring timely, high-quality client service.
- Lead and supervise audit engagements with a focus on manufacturing and distribution.
- Develop and execute audit programs, including risk assessment, control evaluation, and test design.
- Conduct technical accounting research on various topics.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality work papers and communications.
- Maintain proactive communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Mentor staff through training, coaching, and providing developmental feedback.
- Delegate effectively, removing obstacles and setting clear goals.
- Work with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunities.
- Support staff learning through knowledge‑sharing and skill‑building.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in public accounting.
- BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.
- Strong English communication, writing, and research skills.
- Process‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Skills & Experience:
- CPA license or similar certification (preferred, not required).
- Experience in manufacturing and distribution industries.
- German language skills a plus.
- Experience with Pro System fx Engagement or CCH Axcess.
