Project Accountant

We are searching for a Staff Accountant to join our client full-time. You will play a crucial role in managing financial aspects related to project execution. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Prepare sales and use tax affidavits for multiple jurisdictions.
• Review actual costs to ensure accurate project cost allocation.
• Analyze variances against forecasted amounts.
• Calculate sales and use taxes on invoices from vendors and suppliers.
• Process purchase order agreements.
• Maintain positive relationships with supplier and subcontractor accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Sales and use tax multi-state experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Competence in conventional aspects of the subject matter or functional area.
• Ability to devise innovative solutions to encountered problems.
• Independent performance with occasional guidance.
