Senior Inventory Accountant

Century Group's manufacturing client is looking for a Senior Inventory Accountant to join their team full-time. This position will partner across functions to validate the accuracy of cost and inventory to support the growth and success of the company. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $95,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Determine the appropriate treatment as required under the US GAAP
• Preparation of month-end journal entries
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Perform extensive research on a wide variety of inventory-related reports
• Maintain established practices for the inventory/manufacturing system and process
• Assist with all elements of the financial close process to ensure a timely close including:

Requirements:

• GAAP and ERP knowledge is a must
• Expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel and other software programs
• Ability to prioritize workload, and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment with little to no supervision

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Inventory Accounting Experience
