Compensation: $58,000 – $65,000 annually (DOE)

The Field Support Accountant (FSA) is a key member of the Tendit Group accounting team, providing day‑to‑day financial and operational accounting support to one or more field offices. This role touches every part of the accounting cycle—accounts payable, receivable, billing, collections, payroll time entry, and contract accounting—with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and timely execution.

This position requires hands‑on accounting experience, the ability to manage multiple priorities across business units, and a strong grasp of both field and corporate accounting functions. The FSA reports to the Controller and will support multiple divisions and service lines.

• Serve as a cultural ambassador of Tendit, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and professionalism in all internal and external communications
• Prepare and post journal entries in collaboration with the Accounting Supervisor
• Support monthly close processes, including bank and general ledger account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor records in the ERP system, ensuring data integrity across financial systems
• Oversee full‑cycle Accounts Receivable including customer billing, collections, and payment application
• Oversee full‑cycle Accounts Payable including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution
• Respond to and resolve discrepancies with customers and vendors promptly and professionally
• Support vendor onboarding including credit applications, W‑9 collection, and compliance with ERP documentation requirements
• Assist with construction‑specific accounting functions, including pay application processing (WHIP)
• Execute and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls in alignment with company policies
• Cross‑train with other FSAs to provide backup and ensure continuity across teams / divisions
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives within the accounting function

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a field‑facing or multi‑entity environment
• Experience working within ERP systems required;
  Net Suite experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Familiarity with construction accounting and pay application processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines, adapt quickly, and maintain attention to detail
• Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to support cross‑functional teams
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years of age
