Jobot is partnering with a growing construction firm to staff a position as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Support the implementation of new accounting software and adhere to internal controls, policies and procedures
• Preparation of timely month‑end and year‑end (fiscal) financial statements including P & L, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows
• Monthly processing and reconciliation of automated employee expense reports with Concur
• Support maintenance of Fixed Assets system for book and tax reporting
• Monthly bank account reconciliations
• Monthly general ledger entries, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Apply current knowledge of GAAP, including accrual and cash‑based accounting and conversion between the two methods
• Support monthly and quarterly state use tax returns for multiple states
• Prepare personal property tax and annual filings for multiple states
• Prepare quarterly key performance indicators
• Process accounts payable checks, vendor ACHs and employee ACHs
• Code monthly office rent invoices and calculate new lease standards
• Analyze new accounting standards and implement in accordance with GAAP
• Assist in preparation of annual and mid‑year budgets/projections, company budgets by office
• Assist with the annual book audit and preparation of income tax returns
• Guide junior accountant and other staff
• Maintain financial dashboards and file maker reporting
• Available to assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable when necessary

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, 4+ years of progressive, full‑cycle accounting experience, proficiency in ERP implementations, advanced Excel skills, and excellent attention to detail.
