AP Supervisor

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a team in Denver, CO within the Denver Tech Center area. Qualified candidates with 5-7+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounts payable team to ensure efficient operations and compliance with internal guidelines.
• Manage the processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment runs.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the integrity of AP workflows.
• Perform reconciliations of vendor accounts and accounts payable transactions.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and other departments to enhance AP procedures.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Bring at least 5-7+ years of experience in accounts payable, including two years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably Net Suite.
• Exhibit advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Understand GAAP principles and best practices in accounts payable management.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Mentor and train team members while conducting performance evaluations and identifying growth opportunities.
