Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000
Remote - Colorado Residents only

• Research and resolve indirect tax discrepancies involving lodging, occupancy, sales, and other transaction-based taxes.

• Manage multi-state tax compliance requirements across state, county, and local jurisdictions.

• Review tax calculations, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

• Support the onboarding of new property owners, including researching applicable tax requirements.

• Evaluate tax regulations when expanding into new jurisdictions.

• Analyze large datasets using Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, allocations, and financial reporting.

• Respond to client questions and provide accurate tax research and compliance guidance.

• Collaborate with leadership to improve tax processes, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency.

• 3+ years of experience in indirect tax, sales and use tax, lodging tax, or similar transaction-based tax compliance.

• Experience managing tax compliance across multiple states and jurisdictions.

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and analyzing large datasets.

• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and internal leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Experience researching state and local tax regulations.

• Ability to interpret complex tax requirements and communicate findings clearly.

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.

• Proactive approach to identifying discrepancies and improving processes.
