Experienced Auditors have showcased the ability to effectively execute the duties of a knowledgeable staff auditor. They demonstrate competence in completing assigned tasks independently, while also overseeing other staff members. Their responsibilities entail supervising and guiding junior team members, reviewing their work, and implementing necessary adjustments. Seasoned auditors receive a range of auditing and accounting tasks under various professionals. Their performance is evaluated based on their capability to manage projects efficiently, lead staff members, produce high-quality work, apply auditing and accounting expertise, and meet deadlines consistently.

Roles Conducting audit or review procedures as directed

Gaining insight into the client's business operations, industry, accounting systems, and internal controls

Evaluating risks and appraising the client's control framework

Executing and documenting analytical procedures, substantive tests, and control tests to identify and resolve accounting issues

Reviewing or drafting financial statements and other client deliverables

Supervising, coaching, and assessing the work of junior and experienced staff auditors

Fostering and sustaining positive client relationships

Involvement in all stages of client engagements, from planning to completion

Demonstrating proficiency in technical competencies, work quality, and adherence to professional and firm standards

Requirements

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline

Minimum of two years' experience in public accounting

Possession of a valid CPA license, or in the process of obtaining it by passing the state CPA exam Ability to travel to client sites as needed

Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board standards
