Accounting Manager

Description

A growing organization is seeking an Accounting Services Manager to join its accounting team in a newly created role supporting both internal accounting functions and customer-facing shared services operations. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, managing high-volume transactions, and partnering with customers and vendors to ensure accurate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage shared accounting services for customer and vendor accounts.

+ Oversee accounts receivable activities, aging reports, collections, and credit management processes.

+ Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a high-volume transaction environment.

+ Prepare and post general ledger entries and support month-end accounting activities.

+ Monitor vendor compliance with financial agreements and ensure accurate rebate tracking and collection.

+ Assist with order processing and operational accounting workflows.

+ Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance systems, processes, and technology solutions.

+ Coordinate with offshore support teams to ensure timely and accurate data processing.

+ Contribute to process improvement initiatives that support company growth and scalability.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, shared services, or related experience.

+ Strong background in collections, credit management, and account reconciliations.

+ Experience working in a high-volume transactional environment.

+ Advanced attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

+ Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems; experience with modern cloud-based ERP platforms is a plus.

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes.
