Front Desk Coordinator/Reception - Law Firm
We are seeking a professional and highly organized Legal Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice at our AmLaw 100 client’s downtown Denver office. In this pivotal role you will ensure smooth office operations by managing receptionist responsibilities, supporting administrative functions, and maintaining client confidentiality. EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations by greeting visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for visitors and staff in a high‑touch environment.
- Work closely with the client’s staff to assist with the front office.
- Answer and forward calls to the appropriate party and take accurate and complete messages for those who are unavailable.
- Provide administrative and clerical support for the firm including credit card reconciliation and various assigned projects.
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception desk and front lobby area.
- Assist with hospitality tasks including ordering food, event setup/breakdown, and room bookings.
- Solve problems by addressing issues and finding effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively through written and oral communication.
- Support document management by organizing and maintaining files and administrative records.
- Engage in interpersonal communication to foster a positive work environment.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a law firm, medical, or other professional setting preferred.
- Enhanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
- Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact.
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs or greater.
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for an extended period of time.
- Availability to work overtime for events based on business need.
This position is an 8am – 5pm shift.
The compensation range for this role is 18.81 to 25.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s location, skills, experience and qualifications.
