Job DescriptionThe Club Access Assistant is the first face that welcomes our Club members each day and monitors the front access door to the facility. You work closely with volunteers, parents and the community to ensure the Club is an enriching, fun and safe environment.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- One year of administrative experience (i.e., recordkeeping, data entry, filing, answering phones)
The most successful and highly desired applicant will possess:
- Basic Microsoft Office and database management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills to complete reports, properly document programs, and utilize organizational data.
- Bilingual
- Spanish preferred - Experience with basic radio communications (i.e., walkie‑talkie)
- Experience with creating and interpreting custom reports
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Excellent customer service
- Experience with operating basic office equipment (i.e., personal computers, scanners, photocopiers, facsimile machines and voice mail systems)
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple changing priorities; being able to multi‑task
- Experience working with youth
- Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communications with staff, Club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.
- Able to support the safe operation of the Club including hallway monitoring and support

- Must be able to pass criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.
- A valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy.
- The successful candidate will primarily work indoors. Accordingly, the ability to use a variety of equipment including janitorial and office equipment is required.
- The job requires the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing in excess of 25 lbs.
- Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion.
- Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communications with staff, Club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.
