Purpose:
The Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Coordinator is responsible for CLE accreditation for the firm’s course offerings, both internal and client-facing. Assists attorneys in obtaining CLE accreditation to meet their requirements and serve as the point of contact for issues and questions related to state CLE requirements for all attorneys and programs.
- Keep abreast of CLE accreditation requirements and rule changes within the firm footprint, and as necessary nationwide, and report those to the Professional Development Manager.
- Complete necessary steps to apply for and obtain CLE accreditation of internal training programs and client-facing training events.
- Timely issue certificates of attendance to training attendees, including submitting CLE attendance records where provider submission is required.
- Maintain program calendars, attendee lists, and presenter information.
- Maintain and manage the user credentials for the Practising Law Institute (PLI), creating and removing user access as needed.
- Identify PLI programs available for CLE to fulfill attorney compliance requirements.
- Maintain and manage CLE email inbox.
- Answer questions from firm attorneys regarding CLE programs to fulfill requirements or CLE application processes for programs attended externally.
- Develop a CLE processing workflow and regularly evaluate the workflow, process, and procedures for improvements.
- Assist with the annual recertification of CPE Sponsor Status with NASBA.
- Reconcile CLE firm credit card charges for expense reporting.
- Support additional initiatives, programs, and communications that promote attorney/paralegal development.
- Perform additional duties and tasks assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the firm’s overall objectives.

- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience required.
- Three (3) years of experience in an administrative role in a professional office environment required; previous experience working in a law firm preferred.
- Knowledge of CLE rules/regulations and accreditation processes in multiple jurisdictions preferred.

- Experience coordinating programs for multi-office locations preferred.
- Excellent computer and software skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook required.
At this time this position allows for a hybrid schedule and in-office days are expected to be Mondays and Thursdays, with flexibility to switch days as needed with approval. Additional days in-office may be required depending on business need and the demands of specific tasks. The hybrid work structure may change at any time, including the number of in-office days requirement.
