Independent Contractor – Automotive Inspector
Global Staffing Services, a recruiting processing organization, is placing independent contractors to perform automotive inspections for our client, a business-to-business company serving banks, dealerships, leasing companies, and more. Contractors work across the United States, reducing client risk through accurate field inspections.
Responsibilities• Conduct automotive inspections on physical inventories.
• Use proprietary mobile software to complete inspection reports.
• Identify equipment, locate Serial/VIN numbers, and document any changes or damages.
• Reconcile missing vehicles and update records.
• Submit completed reports within specified time frames.
• Proficient with computers and mobile applications on a smartphone or tablet.
• Flexible schedule, available Monday‑Friday, 7 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED.
• Automotive experience is required (e.g., auto inspector, insurance adjustor, mechanic, auto body).
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and good communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75 % of the time.
