We are building a platform that eliminates the administrative work of running a center, have recently raised millions of dollars, secured statewide contracts, and partner with thousands of schools nationwide.
WhatYou'll Do
- Develop relationships with government and NGO partners, ensuring Playground is part of discussions when public funds are allocated to child care and designing project plans that maximize outcomes for providers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government‑funded groups and state government clients (Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Arizona, Texas, etc.), building trusted relationships and crafting strategies that drive impact and growth across agencies.
- Drive provider adoption by developing and executing strategies to increase use of Playground’s platform among childcare providers participating in state‑funded programs, including webinars, training sessions, and support resources tailored to government stakeholders.
- Monitor program health by tracking and analyzing key performance indicators across government accounts, anticipating risks, and implementing proactive solutions to improve retention and satisfaction.
- 5+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Public Sector partnerships, ideally with state‑level government clients. SaaS, edtech, or govtech experience is a plus.
- Proven sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and driving revenue growth.
- Experience selling into government agencies at the state level and strong knowledge of government procurement, contract management, and compliance.
- Ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder relationships and drive adoption and growth across accounts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead training sessions and present to senior‑level stakeholders in both government and provider networks.
- Self‑motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to work in‑person five days a week at our office in LoDo.

OTE for this position is $150,000 – $180,000, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.
