The Opportunity
Woof is seeking a Senior E-commerce Catalog Manager to supercharge our growth across key e-commerce platforms. If you're passionate about maximizing platform growth and have a proven track record of managing catalogs and enhancing operational efficiencies, we want to hear from you.
This isn't just about managing listings; it's about leading our strategic vision, optimizing every asset, and directly contributing to each platform's success. You'll be the expert guiding and navigating Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, and Tik Tok, operational complexities helping to ensure every campaign hits its mark.
Listing Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for product catalog management across Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, and Tik Tok
, ensuring consistency and platform‑specific optimization. - Oversee the end‑to‑end process of product listing creation, maintenance, and enhancement, including product titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, videos, and A+ Content/Enhanced Brand Content.
- Conduct regular audits of product listings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to marketplace guidelines and best practices.
- Optimize product listings for improved rankings and consumer experience - examine for keyword indexing, organic search visibility, content optimization, consumer journey considerations, media placements and more.
- Identify and implement opportunities for product data enrichment and standardization across all platforms.
- Strategically identify, enroll, and manage products for high‑impact promotional events, including Amazon Lightning Deals, Prime Day, Walmart Deals, and Chewy/Tik Tok promotions.
- Monitor inventory health and performance across all marketplaces, proactively addressing issues like excess inventory, stranded inventory, or low stock alerts.
- Coordinate product availability and eligibility for fulfillment programs (e.g., FBA) to maximize Prime Day and other key sales event success.
- Manage and resolve complex case logs with marketplace support teams (e.g., Amazon Seller/Vendor Support, Walmart Partner Support) related to listing errors, suppressions, content changes, and policy violations.
- Collaborate with Amazon SAS team to ensure issues receive proper escalation, tent poles have adequate planning, and other available opportunities are explored for viability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any catalog‑related issues, including listing errors, suppressions, and data discrepancies.
Cross‑Functional Partnership:
- Partner closely with product development, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure new product launches are seamless and existing products are merchandised effectively.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and copywriters to develop engaging and persuasive product content and visual assets.
- Work with customer service to understand common product‑related inquiries and optimize catalog content to proactively address customer needs.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Define KPIs related to catalog health, content quality, and product performance (e.g., conversion rates, listing health scores).
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor catalog performance and identify areas for improvement.
