Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth)

We are building the first super app to make car ownership affordable and accessible. The Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth) role will help scale our core insurance business from 5M to 50M customers and become a $10B business. You will report directly to the VP of Insurance Operations and own the systems, strategy, and execution behind our quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance.

In this high‑visibility role you will work cross‑functionally with product, engineering and analytics to create a seamless user experience and ensure ongoing carrier success. You will drive critical outcomes such as loss ratio, retention and conversion for our insurance marketplace.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc)
• 7+ years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG preferred)
• Track record of hiring and managing high‑performing teams

• You have a structured framework for problem solving and live by first principles
• You are comfortable communicating with audiences ranging from technical stakeholders and business partners to the C‑suite
• You set a high bar for yourself and your team and constantly push that bar higher in pursuit of excellence

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed on this job posting, determined based on job‑related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, compensation may include equity grants.
