Your Role
As a Technology Program Manager, you will lead the strategy, planning, execution, and operationalization of cross‑functional technology initiatives that support both internal operations and external clients. You will serve as a critical link between business, clinical, operational, and technology teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with organizational priorities and deliver measurable business value.
In addition to program leadership, you will facilitate business analysis activities, lead process and workflow design efforts, and support product management functions. You will lead project teams, proactively identify risks, and work with key stakeholders to mitigate those risks and any potential downstream impacts. You will demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, confidence, and a proactive work ethic.
Primary Functions of the Technology Program Manager Include:
Program & Project Leadership
- Lead complex technology programs from initiation through implementation, operational transition, and post‑launch stabilization.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, delivery roadmaps, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Manage scope, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and change control.
- Establish program governance, facilitate decision‑making, and deliver concise executive status reporting.
- Coordinate testing, deployment, training, implementation readiness, and post‑launch support across business and technology teams.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Lead discovery, requirements‑gathering, workflow‑design, and solution‑design sessions with business, clinical, and technology stakeholders.
- Document current‑state and future‑state workflows, business rules, decision logic, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and operational requirements.
- Translate business and clinical needs into requirements that technology teams can design, build, test, and implement.
- Validate proposed solutions with business and technology stakeholders before development and deployment.
- Identify and define opportunities to improve workflows through standardization, automation, or technology‑enabled process changes.
Product & Platform Support
- Partner with business leaders and Product Owners to define platform roadmaps and prioritize enhancements.
- Manage enhancement intake, backlog refinement, prioritization, and stakeholder approval.
- Evaluate enhancement requests based on business value, operational impact, strategic alignment, and technical feasibility.
