Business Operations Manager

FMI’s Leadership and Organizational Development Practice is seeking a passionate and collaborative Business Operations Manager to support the Leadership & Organizational Development (LOD) practice. This role will partner with LOD leadership to execute strategic priorities, strengthen operations, and build scalable processes that support continued growth.

FMI is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the Leadership & Organizational Development (LOD) practice. This role will partner with LOD leadership to execute strategic priorities, strengthen operations, and build scalable processes that support continued growth. This is a build-and-improve role focused on creating structure, improving processes, and using data to help leaders make informed decisions.

This position is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in either our Denver, Colorado, or Raleigh, North Carolina, office.

• Coordinate strategic priorities, track progress, and drive follow-through across the practice.
• Improve staffing and workforce planning by connecting consultant capacity with project demand.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring needs and improve hiring and onboarding processes.
• Manage and improve recurring practice operations, systems, and workflows.
• Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into staffing, performance, and business needs.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen how the practice operates.
• Build alignment across stakeholders and keep priorities moving forward.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in business operations, practice management, program management, internal consulting, or a related field.
• Experience building and improving operational processes and systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
• Comfortable working in a growing environment with evolving priorities.
• Experience with Salesforce, reporting platforms, or business intelligence tools is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $145,000 plus an annual bonus.
