ZI- Live-In Career Nanny​/Governess - Denver

Overview

Welcoming, respectful and involved parents seek a brilliant, education-focused live-in career nanny/governess for their gorgeous 5-yr-old twin girls. The family live in a beautiful area of Denver, Colorado. The schedule will usually be Monday through Friday, 6am-9am and then 3pm-7pm, however flexibility around this would be appreciated as weekend help may sometimes be needed and schedules may vary. There is also likely to be regular travel with the family, as well as times when the nanny will be proxy-parenting the girls.

• Providing a warm and loving environment that fosters growth and development
• Maintaining respectful boundaries and promoting independence
• Accompanying the girls to their various activities (including ballet, various sports, language classes etc)
• Transportation to and from school, local playgrounds, activities, and playdates
• Light housekeeping pertaining to the girls such as keeping their rooms and play areas tidy and organised ((however laundry and deep cleaning are provided by a full-time cleaning team)
• Preparing snacks and meals for the children
• Lots of engaging play, encouraging their interests and really promoting their social, intellectual and emotional development
• Bringing an education-first approach that augments their school experience

The family would love to find a kind, sophisticated and professional nanny, who is excellent at reading the room and knows when to step back to allow family time. Additionally candidates should be:

• Positive, optimistic and happy, with a 'can-do' mind-set
• Warm and loving with a nurturing nature, but with an intellectual and professional approach
• Confident, safe drivers with a clean licence
• Organised, detail‑orientated, and great at communicating
• Discreet and able to respect the family's privacy and confidentiality
• Engaging and creative, happy to be interactive and involved at every level with the girls (setting up arts and crafts sessions, for example, or joining in with their swimming/tennis/sporting activities)
• Pet‑friendly and comfortable around larger dogs
• Flexible and adaptable, able to pivot and accommodate changing plans and last‑minute requests
• Comfortable working as part of a team, with a 'pitch‑in' mindset
• Confident swimmers, and generally active and energetic
• Able to ensure a positive, happy and constructive environment around the girls
• Interested in education with, preferably, a teaching degree or similar
• Available to travel regularly with the family both internationally and domestically. The family also have a beautiful estate in Southampton where they spend the summer months, and would love to find a nanny who has an international outlook, has perhaps lived in other countries and who brings a certain maturity and cultural awareness to the role
• Excellent at tag‑teaming with the parents and the household team, adept at remaining a few steps ahead at all times and demonstrating initiative

This is a really fantastic role with a genuinely lovely family who hope to find someone to join them long‑term.
