We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will share our passion for excellence, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and play a key role in supporting the success of our expanding project portfolio.

Duties
  • Analyze and comprehend Civil, Structural, Architectural, and other construction drawings to extract pertinent information for project planning and estimating.
  • Support project management teams by providing necessary documentation and updates to facilitate a smooth handover process.
  • Utilize software tools to efficiently and accurately obtain item quantities for estimating.
  • Utilize software tools such as Heavy Bid for project estimation and cost control activities.
  • Engage in negotiation processes related to contracts and pricing to ensure favorable terms for the company.
  • Collaborate with construction management teams to oversee project timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and costs associated with projects to facilitate effective budgeting.
  • Organize and consolidate information from various sources to facilitate decision-making and project planning processes.
  • Prepare bid proposals professionally, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct and document regular follow-ups on outstanding proposals.
  • Engage in networking events to assist in relationship building and promote the SWI brand.
Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for document management and collaboration.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage contracts and pricing discussions.
  • Familiarity with Heavy Bid software for construction estimating purposes.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills to perform calculations and utilize software tools effectively in project analysis and estimation.
  • Background in construction site experience, providing practical insights into daily operations and challenges.
  • Experience with estimating underground utility (water / sewer / storm) and earthwork scopes.
  • Understanding of construction management principles to improve estimating accuracy.
  • Employ strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks across various teams while meeting deadlines.
  • Results-Oriented, Accountable, Aligned, Transparent, Inspirational, and Disciplined!
Experience
  • Construction estimating : 3 years (Required)
  • Underground utilities : 3 years (Preferred)
  • Earthwork : 3 years (Preferred)
Ability to Commute
