Advanced Contracting is looking for an experienced Lead Installer to join our Division 10 specialties team. This position plays a key role in coordinating and executing the installation of specialty construction products such as bathroom partitions, accessories, lockers, visual boards, and wall protection systems across a variety of commercial projects.
We’re seeking someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys leading a crew, and can ensure installations are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and participate in the installation of Division 10 products from start to finish.
- Direct and guide a team of installers, ensuring tasks are completed according to plans, specifications, and quality expectations.
- Interpret blueprints, layouts, and shop drawings to confirm correct installation procedures.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact with project managers, general contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate workflow and resolve challenges.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and job site protocols at all times.
- Maintain proper documentation of daily activities, materials, and project progress.
- Support and mentor newer installers, providing hands-on training and quality control oversight.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years working with Division 10 products (partitions, accessories, lockers, etc.) and at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with standard tools (power drills, levels, saws) and comfortable using construction management software like Procore.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with construction practices, blueprints, and Division 10 specifications.
- Leadership: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting materials, working at heights, and handling outdoor work conditions.
- License: Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Preferred: OSHA 10/30 certification or other relevant trade credentials.
