The Project Engineersupportsprojectexecutiononfast -pacedcommercialTIprojects(oftencompressedschedulesasshortas~6weeks),helpingensureprojectsaresetupforsuccessfromdayone.

Therolemayalsoinvolvesupportingtheteamonbidsandassistingwithbusinessdevelopmentefforts.

Thisisafield-forward“builder”role:youwilllearndirectlyfromthe

Superintenden ton-siteandsupportcoordination,documentation,andday-to-day execution.

OwnerandprojectPMswithselectoperationalandprocess-improvementitemsthatkeepthebusinessrunningsmoothly.

Thisisanidealroleforsomeoneearlyintheirconstructioncareerwhowantstobuildawell-roundedfoundationacrossfieldoperations,project engineering,estimating,andbusinessdevelopment—andgrowintodeeperprojectleadershipovertime.

• Partnercloselywiththe Superintendenttolearnfieldoperations:sequencing,logistics,coordination,andqualitycontrol.
• Support day-to-dayfieldneedssuchasdeliveries,vendor coordination,schedule look-aheads,andissuetracking.
• Assistwithprojectdocumentationworkflows(RFIs,submittals,meeting notes,dailylogs,punchlists) andhelpkeepsystemscleanandcurrent.
• Helpensureworkalignswithdrawings/specsandthatquestionsgetresolvedquicklyandprofessionally.
• Supportcloseoutreadiness:punchcompletiontracking,turnover documentation,warranties/O&Ms,etc.

• Deliverahigh-touch,professionalexperienceforclients,architects,andtradepartners,especiallywhenschedulesaretightandprioritiesshift.
• Communicateclearlyandpromptly;setexpectationsearlyandprovideproactiveupdates.
• Represent Ellipsis Constructionwithacalm ,solutions-first approach,especiallyinthefieldandduringhigh-pressure moments.
• Support the Superintendent/Project Manager/Ownerinmaintainingtrust-forwardrelationshipsacrossallprojects.

• Assistwithquantitytakeoffs,scope review,andestimatepreparationforcommercialTIprojectsundertheguidanceofseniorteammembers.
• Supportsubcontractorandvendoroutreach,includingassemblingbidpackages,sending

  Bid(ITBs),andtrackingcoverage.
• Helplevelbidsandflaggapsorexclusionstosupportcomplete,apples-to-apples comparisons.
• Participateinpre-bidsitewalksandexistingconditionsreviewstohelpreducedownstreamsurprises.
• Assistwithproposalinputs(asneeded):scope narratives,schedule assumptions,qualifications,andpricingapproach.
• Helpmaintainestimatingtemplates,historicalcostdata,andlessonslearned.
• Mayassistwithbusinessdevelopmentefforts,suchaspreparingqualificationpackages,RFP/RFQresponses,andprojectwrite-ups.
