Responsibilities
+ Conduct daily site safety observations, audits, and inspections to proactively identify hazards and ensure safe work practices.

+ Identify and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors in the field, taking immediate action to reduce risk.
+ Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and case management to support continuous improvement in safety performance.
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all project-specific safety requirements.
+ Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training activities for field teams and subcontractors.
+ Serve as a safety resource and trusted partner to project teams, providing guidance and support on safety-related issues.
+ Promote a proactive, positive safety culture throughout the project by modeling safe behaviors and reinforcing expectations.
+ Support overall project safety, quality, and productivity initiatives through close collaboration with operations leadership.
+ Work collaboratively with field leadership, subcontractors, and client representatives to align safety goals and expectations.
+ Integrate effectively with Superintendents and field personnel as a team player, maintaining a collaborative approach to safety leadership.
+ Influence personnel at all levels of the organization through strong relationships, clear communication, and consistent field engagement.
Essential Skills

+ OSHA 30 Certification.
+ Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
+ Strong understanding of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
+ Proven ability to build relationships and influence field personnel through coaching and collaboration.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse field teams.
+ Demonstrated ability to maintain a visible presence in the field and engage directly with crews on safety topics.
Additional

+ Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, civil, or heavy construction projects.
+ Experience working alongside general contractors and self-perform trades.
+ Experience in supporting high-profile or complex construction projects.
+ Team-oriented mindset with the ability to integrate seamlessly with Superintendents and field personnel.
+ Collaborative approach to safety leadership, focusing on coaching and building buy-in rather than policing the project.
