Thisisaskilledfieldpositionwithanopportunitytodevelopadditionalexperienceandprogresstowarda Saw Cutter IIroleasskills,knowledge,andperformanceincrease.

• Operateorlearntooperatewallsaws,core drills,flatsaws,handsaws,ringsaws,andotherconcrete-cutting equipment.
• Operate hydraulic,electrical,gas-powered,andhand-heldcuttinganddrillingequipmentastrainedandauthorized.
• Performconcretecuttingandcoredrillingaccordingtoprojectspecificationsandinstructions.
• Assistwithequipmentsetup,positioning,operation,cleanup,and breakdown.
• Usehandtoolsandpowertoolssafelyandappropriately.
• Maintainawarenessofequipmentconditionandreportproblemsorneededrepairs.

• Followprojectinstructions,work schedules,anddirectionfromfieldsupervision.
• Workwith Saw Cutter II,foremen,andotherfieldemployeestocompleteassignedworksafelyandefficiently.
• Maintainanorganizedandsafeworkarea.
• Assistwithpreparationandcleanupbeforeandaftercuttingordrillingoperations.
• Adapttochangingprojectprioritiesandjobsiteconditions.
• Communicatejobsiteconcerns,equipment issues,orchangesinprojectconditionstotheappropriatesupervisor.

• Followallcompanysafetypolicies,procedures,andtrainingrequirements.
• FollowapplicableOSHArequirementsandsafeworkpractices.
• Properlyuserequiredpersonalprotectiveequipment.
• Inspecttoolsandequipmentbeforeuseandreportunsafeordamagedequipment.
• Maintainawarenessofemployees,equipment,utilities,structures,andotherhazardsaroundtheworkarea.
• Follow project-specificsafetyrequirementsandinstructions.

• Maintaintoolsandequipmentinaclean,safe,andusablecondition.
• Performroutinecareandbasicmaintenanceasdirected.
• Properly transport,store,andsecuretoolsandequipment.
• Report damaged,missing,ormalfunctioningequipmentpromptly.

• Accuratelycompleterequireddailydocumentation.

Thispositionrequiresregularsitting,standing,walking,bending,reaching,climbing,and lifting.

Theemployeemustbeabletosafelyassistwithloadingandunloadingequipmentandmaterialsandperformotherphysicaldutiesassociatedwithtransportationandconstructionoperations.

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred.
