SUMMER CAMP POSITIONS – YOUNGER COMPANY (CAMPERS AGES 5-8)

Local candidates and those considering a permanent move to the Denver/Boulder area are preferred; outstanding out of town candidates are given full consideration.

MUSIC DIRECTOR

We are seeking experienced music directors with a background in musical theatre for the summer season. Ideal candidates should have at minimum a BA and two years of experience teaching within the 5-9 age range. Music directors need to able to teach vocal parts, provide proper voice technique, and assist students in creating dynamic and interesting musical pieces. These camps are fast-paced and produce final productions within 1-3 weeks.

The ability to work closely with the director and choreographer is crucial, and candidates must be comfortable working with large groups of children. Basic piano skills are required to accompany for rehearsal and the final performances. This is a full-time summer position.
