NOTE: The candidate chosen for this position will be required to complete our internal credentialing and privileging process prior to a start date. The credentialing and privileging timeline is dependent on the selected candidate’s submission of documents necessary for clearance. A start date will be scheduled once credentialing and privileging is complete.

- Perform Dental Assistant responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the Dental Assistant Supervisor to train new and existing dental assistants.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during various dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Place purchasing orders and monitor the usage of dental inventory to ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
- Assist the Dental Assistant Supervisors and outreach providers with off‑site clinical needs, including stocking, inventory, and proper instrument handling and sterilization.
- Monitor the master equipment maintenance list and ensure all dental equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer instructions and departmental policies.
- Stay informed on updates to CCH regulations and ensure compliance within the dental assistant team.
- Maintain and update clinic documentation, including MSDS records and the dental manual, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Stay current on infection control procedures, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA guidelines to ensure all practices meet required safety and privacy standards.
- Coordinate workflow between dentists, assistants, and patients to facilitate effective communication and patient care.
- Promptly report any incidents, clinic concerns, or changes to the Dental Assistant Supervisor or Director.
- Ensure the sterility of all reusable dental instruments and proper disposal of contaminated materials in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities, both on‑site and off‑site, as needed.
- Foster a team environment built on respect, inclusiveness, and collaboration among staff members.
- Ensure timely & accurate recording of all clinical/non‑clinical services, communications, and tasks in the EHR and other systems as required while maintaining complete up‑to‑date charts and any future upgrades as directed.
Compensation: $23.98 – $29.06 per hour. Salary depends on total relevant experience.
